Good morning-
I hope you all are well. I posted a discussion thread yesterday on Canvas and asked you to respond. Only 7 people responded. Thank you if you responded yesterday! I really need to hear from everyone, so I know you are out there, paying attention, and are able to use Canvas during our time of online learning. Even though Wake County has asked us during this initial closure time not to present any new material, I hope you have been logging on and doing the review activities I have posted. Starting April 13th, we will be fully online and you will have new content and assignments you have to complete.
Many of you still have late work to submit and this is the time to finish this and submit it to me. Next week is your spring break, and we will have no required work. Please don't let these late assignments drag on too long. It becomes more difficult to catch up as time progresses.
Have you ever explored Khan Academy? This resource is great for review or learning of a topic you need help with. I am sharing a link with you for a Khan Academy module on macromolecules. Remember these are the large molecules that make up cells and organelles. They are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. There is a lot of information here, so take a look and try reading, watching, and taking a quiz or two. Try it.
